Nik Shore
Director
After over 20 years in the licensed trade, owning & managing pubs, clubs, and restaurants from London to Bournemouth, Nik decided to take on a new challenge and entered the world of Commercial Contract Cleaning. He founded Shoreclean, which soon evolved into LION Commercial Cleaning Limited (LION CCL) as the company grew following the advice of his accountant.
Nik has since built strong partnerships and grown LION CCL into a trusted and respected market leader in the world of eco-friendly cleaning. His commitment to sustainability and quality service has earned LION CCL recognition throughout Hampshire and beyond as “The Greener Cleaner.”
Nik’s passion for lions inspired the company name — and it’s more than just symbolic. He has personally adopted seven lions, throughout the U.K., two at the Isle of Wight Zoo and five more at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent, where he visits regularly and enjoyed and still talks fondly of the unforgettable experience of hand-feeding Manzes, his first adoptee and member of his extended family.
Outside of work, Nik a lover of good food and fine wine, enjoys travelling (especially to warmer climates), playing golf (driving the buggy ), and supporting and sponsoring both local and national football. He’s also proudly owns a horse trained by Mr Paul Nicholls Nik brings the same passion and energy to life as he does to his business — always striving for excellence, integrity, and a greener tomorrow.
Max Shore
Operations
As the son of a business owner, Max basically grew up surrounded by hoovers, mop buckets, and the smell of lemon-scented floor cleaner. While other kids were learning to ride bikes, he was learning to operate a sit-on scrubbing machine — which, to be fair, is way cooler.
After leaving West Hill Park School, he headed to Loughborough Uni to chase his dream of swimming for Team GB. Max even made the early squad for the 2012 Olympics — until a slightly overenthusiastic football tackle left him with a broken femur, a 14-inch metal plate, and a scar that he now proudly describes as the result of a shark attack. (It’s a better story, trust him.)
Once he was back on his feet, Max swapped swimming pools for pool parties — spending three unforgettable seasons as an 18–30 holiday rep in Ibiza. Let’s just say Max earned a PhD in people skills, diplomacy, and surviving on zero sleep.
After that, he came back to the UK, managing a few high-end venues before joining Nik full-time at Lion Commercial Cleaning. These days, he's the guy making sure every job runs smoother than a freshly polished floor. From operations to client relationships, Max is all about making sure our “guarantees” aren’t just marketing fluff — they’re promises we actually keep.
When he's not running Lion, you’ll probably find Max with his pride and joy — a hand-built 2008 Mustang that’s won more trophies than he has. Max is also partial to a round of golf (especially if there’s a Lion logo on his shirt), travelling to sunny places, and sampling a cocktail or two… all in the name of “networking,” of course.

What Is A Microfibre & Eco-Fibre Cloth?
Microfibre cloths are a high-performance cleaning material, engineered from 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. Each fibre is 10 times finer than silk, up to 30 times finer than cotton, and 100 times finer than a human hair, with over 1,000 miles of strands in every cloth. The polyester component provides excellent scrubbing power, while the polyamide fibres ensure rapid drying, making microfibre a versatile and efficient two-in-one cleaning solution. Designed to clean without streaking, smearing, scratching, or leaving lint, microfibre is safe for use on delicate surfaces without causing damage.
Eco-Fibre cloths deliver all the benefits of traditional microfibre with added sustainability. Manufactured using recycled plastic bottles, each cloth is made with 55% recycled fibres — the equivalent of approximately two plastic bottles per cloth. Fully washable up to 200 times, Eco-Fibre cloths are reusable, recyclable, and provide an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional microfibre products.

How To Use Them
Microfibre and Eco-Fibre cloths are versatile tools suitable for a wide range of cleaning tasks. For dusting, simply use the cloth dry on the required surface. For general cleaning, lightly dampen the cloth with water using a spray bottle, wring it out, and wipe the area. When cleaning glass, mirrors, or windows, use a damp cloth to remove dirt, then buff with a dry cloth for a streak-free finish.
To maintain the quality and longevity of these cloths, wash them separately or with similar fabrics. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as they can damage the fibres. After washing, air dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting, and store the cloths in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
